Diamond, Franklin A.
Diamond writes that he has "been transferred to a new tin can [ship] still under construction." He would "like a change, maybe I can get in the other war for awhile," since he has "made every atoll in the South Pacific." Hoping that Lauren Post and his "faithful gang can keep the News Letter going through the summer," he gives a temporary address until his ship is ready and says to say hello to people in San Diego for him.
