DeVore, Chester S.
DeVore saw men from San Diego State College--Lyle Breslin, Jack Edwards, John Conner, and Cotton Gilliland. He has not seen Jack and Fred Carr lately but thinks they are all right. His class graduated with the first lieutenant commission, but it does not affect his duties. He is "rather anxious to hear whether [San Diego] State [College] is going to continue next year or not." Milky Phelps was given a diploma posthumously after dying in action.
