Davis thanks Lauren Post "on behalf of the former San Diego State College students who are stationed here at Northwestern for sending us the Newsletter." Davis starts to list the men from San Diego State in the "new class," but stops, saying "you probably all ready have the complete list." He describes the schedule for the V-7 students and says that the subjects listed in the last newsletter are not "essential" to success.
