Clark, Richard Winton
Clark details how his unit "boarded the train without knowing where we were going." He credits Snafu [acronym for 'Situation Normal, All Fouled Up'] for the dubious announcement. After 12 hours they stopped at College station, their new "home," "still in Texas." He lists the men from San Diego State College in the Army Specialized Training Program at Texas A. and M. College. Clark was killed in action in Holland in 1944.
