Church, Spencer
Church claims he represents San Diego State College in military service "at a place no one has even heard of, Tiburon, nicknamed 'Little Liberia' and 'Pneumonia Gulch.'" He is part of the "dungaree [blue jeans] Navy" across from San Francisco, training "with an advance base unit of net and boomers, sort of a combination of CB's [Seabees or construction battalions] and commandos" who lay and tend nets for submarines.
