Chavis sends a message to Ernie McAnulty through the Aztec News Letter that "we're all behind him" after McAnulty was wounded in action. "Everyone at home," he writes, "consider [the McAnulty brothers] as part of the Chavis family." He would like to hear from both his brother Tom and from Wally McAnulty.
