Chase has "looked all over North Africa for another Aztec," "in every bar, hospital and Guardhouse," but without finding anyone from San Diego State College. "Every man in the Squadron" reads the Aztec News Letter, but there has been no mail. He wishes he could tell Lauren Post about "our little 'tea-parties," but being a censor he knows he cannot.
