Chase, Lionel E.
With the instruction to "hold onto this until Dean C. [Charles] E. [Peterson] hears from me," Chase says he just got out of "the malaria ward." Someone is missing in action, who might be Griff Williams, mentioned in another letter. He still hopes to do his "Christmas shopping in San Diego," and "loaf on the Quad," "drink Clarence and Andy clear out of coffee and eat all their toasted tuna sandwiches."
