Carter, Richard Joseph
Carter is laid up at a bad time "to lay off training" because they are scheduled to go overseas soon. An instructor at the Parachute School, he joined the infantry. The troops are young (18-20) but "willing to learn." His Alabama Area is 14 miles from the Main Post so he doesn't see many people, but saw Lieutenant Fellows and Ted Withall. He would like to get an address for "Swede" Lovine. He hears from "Buster" Murphy often.
