Butcher, Warren A.
Bill Burrows and Val Robbins are in San Diego, but Butcher had to turn back at Pittsburgh. He is "being retained in Quantico as an instructor." Milky Phelps, Ed Searl, Ernie McAnulty, and "Ace" Thomas (all casualties) are men who "will be a reminder to 'Tojo' [the emperor of Japan] and 'Schicklgruber' [Hitler] of something they'll wish they'd never attempted." Ralph "the mouse" Monsees is in officer candidate's class at Quantico.
