Burrell, Thomas Brent
Burrell is in the hospital from "one of the large scale raids we've been making over Germany recently." His left leg was fractured and the navigator "was severely wounded" by "flak" (antiaircraft fire) just before their airplane reached the target area, but they dropped their bombs anyway and returned to their home base, having to "sweat out" the ride back. He sends best wishes to the Alumni Association.
