Burkhardt, Henry Blair
The North American Aviation representative writes about how hard it must be on the home front, "with all this rationing, taxes, food shortages, no merchandise, and probably not much transportation." He looks forward to a month back in San Diego the following June. He was a close friend of Burdette Binkley's and Paul Fern's and feels "sad and even bitter" about their and others' deaths and capture.
