Burkhardt, Henry Blair
Burkhardt types on his stationery as representative of North American Aviation, Inc., "wetter than I ever have been before" from the weather. He is glad that people on the home front "don't know just how bad this modern warfare is" and that troops are "incamped on our enemy's doorstep" to keep the enemy from invasion of home. He is sorry to hear that Sam Patella is missing in action.
