Burkhardt, Henry Blair
Burkhardt gets his wife Evelyn's letters, and she is helping with the newsletter, but he has not received any. He gives details from Burdette Binkley's captain of how Binkley's plane was shot down and his life lost. Parts of Binkley's last letter were published in the newsletter and he would like a copy for "the boys in his outfit." Burkhardt's office is "not over a mile" from the site of the Casablanca conference, the Anfa Hotel.
