Burke, S. Lawrence
Burke hopes he can get the Aztec News Letter away from his squadron mates long enough to read it. There are no others from San Diego State College, but they appreciate the news, especially of the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (WAACs). Stationed in the South Pacific, Burke has been "out on several bombing missions" on Japanese bases, with all he has to do as pilot being to "follow the Bombardier's instructions." He sends news of William Knox of Carlsbad.
