Blackburn, Charles A.
A silver line drawing of an airplane is embossed on Blackburn's stationery on which he reports that he is in the first class in gunnery school at Pyote, graduating soon. He expects to "wind up as a Radar Operator-Gunner on a B-17." He sends the name and address of a "buddy" "on some dinky Southern Pacific Island" (Guadalcanal) and corrects his own.
