Writing from Karachi, Pakistan (formerly "India" as here in blue pencil), Asberry encloses a photograph. He would like Fred Shields's address and sends ones for Edward Rees and George Crowningshield. Atascadero High School's newsletter that he received is based on the one from San Diego State College. His barracks holds dances in addition to the ones in the "soldiers club," and the locals like to "jitterbug."
