Arriola, Paul
Moved to Camp Maxey as on his stationery, Arriola mentions that nothing grew in the victory garden at the last camp, as he had "prophesied." Qualified for the Army Specialized Training Program, he is still at the "reassignment center" where Frank Howell, Nick Stamatopoulos, and Al Williams are also. Howard Quam's class was also the "best cycle" like theirs, and the one before that, etc. The camp will host Japanese prisoners of war "by mid-September."
