Anderson, Robert H.
Anderson has been with the Marine Aviation Detachment in Washington since January and will soon be transferred. Newly promoted, he expects to have about four more months in the United States until he is sent overseas to "some VMF unit." While ferrying planes Anderson saw Henri Giraud, a French Army general under heavy guard since he was under threat of being sent to his probable death in Germany.
