Westland, John L., Jr.
Westland's letter is typed in a script font on gilded bond stationery from the United States Naval Air Station at Pensacola. Home with "the measles, the Victory type," he cannot instruct in instrument flying. His wife is substitute teaching. He reports on men from San Diego State College whom he knows or has seen. His 1940 yearbook yields other names he doesn't recognize.
John Westland; Johnny Westland; Mary Westland; Richard Cormier; Howard M. Avery; Edwin B. McLean; Edwin McLean; Howard Grimmell; Sam Patella; Dick Webb; Ed Overend; John Butler; Earl Peterson; Military training; United States Navy; Instrument flying; Frank Graham
