Spainhower, David J.
Spainhower dreams of a reunion mentioned by Robert Harwood as he thanks the editor for the Service Men's News Letter. He has seen no one he knew at San Diego State College but finally met someone from State in the Merchant Marine. They are studying radio theory, code, math and typing before advancing to training in Boston to become radio operators. Smith signs off as "a cadet to an Old Radio Hand" (Lauren Post).
