Shoemaker, Benjamin D., Jr.
Shoemaker was at San Diego State College in 1930, 1931, and 1933, entered the Coast Guard, on "sea duty" after training. He can say nothing of his duties after December 7. His wife is Olivegene Barugh from State, in San Diego with their daughter. He was "under the wing" of Dudley Robinson and Elmer Messner, to whom he asks to be remembered along with Charlie Smith and Dean Peterson, and wishes he had graduated.
