Shepard, Dodd V.
Shepherd flies Republic P-47 Thunderbolt airplanes and describes flying over New York City. His "group has a date to keep with the Hun" "soon." Royal Air Force pilots train them "in fighter tactics." His meeting with General Arnold was a "pleasure." Mourning Tom Cozens' death, he wonders how Gordon Wiggins, Frank Diamond, Don Webber, Roth and others are doing. Signing off, he tells Lauren Post to "keep 'em mailing."
