Plaister, Robert E.
After being in "heavy bombardment" for a year and a half, Plaister will "take a crack at" flying. As an aviation student, he is due to leave for primary (pre-flight) training in a few days. John Gill, whose name and address Plaister sends, was "in the same room when Herb Childers was hit by a machine gun bullet" during the Attack on Pearl Harbor.
