Kucera, Howard Seelye
Kucera writes that "the boys out here" "wonder if the folks back home really know what...is going on." He urges supporting morale and supplying "tools" so "the job will be done." Russ Newbury is apparently the person who reported Kucera's address, and Kucera notes the associated "lieutenant," while he is a "Petty Officer Second Class," a Storekeeper. He signs off as a "Former Star on Dr. Post's great Frosh Team."
