Chief Specialist Dilley is stationed in San Diego and almost ashamed to be writing for the first time since he has been receiving newsletters all along. He is in "charge of small craft (sail Boats)" with boss Lieutenant Ruffa from San Diego State College (SDSC). He also mentions Alex Hayward. They are all sorry that SDSC has had a poor football season but have hopes for basketball.
