Biberman, Edward (1904-1986)
Portrays early history of Venice. Uses Mexican mural technique placing a larger than life figure in the center. Flanked by historical or mythical allusions. In the back a large portrait of Abott Kinny (founder of Venice). Left side shows the city as a recreational playground, the right shows the city as it has become, filled with commercial oil derricks.
