Three panoramic panels. Two side panels portray important flags. Central panel shows history and development of the state through the Spanish, Mexican, and American eras. Side panels may have been titled: Flags of the Past and Flags of the Present.


Originally located at the State Building, Los Angeles. Building torn down in 1975. Murals relocated in 1991.
