The Chicano Legal Defense Committee was an organization formed as a result of the police malpractices committed against Mexican-Americans. This issue reports the arrests of the East LA (Los Angeles) 13, charged with conspiracy to disturb the peace and describes the educational issues for which they demonstrated (East Los Angeles Walkouts or Chicano Blowouts in March).
