Paul Schenly sits at a piano

Schenly sits on a piano bench while resting his elbow on a piano. A caption reads, "Pianist Paul Schenley [sic] will perform with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on August 5 and 6." This print is presumably a promotional photograph for Schenly's guest performance with the Symphony. Schenly was an American pianist who was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant. He performed as a guest pianist with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on August 5th and 6th, 1978, with conductor Mitch Miller for the Summer of Stars series.
