There are distortions that cause echoing clanging, and the speed appears off as well. At about 23 minutes the left track disappears, then is off synchronization.
According to the program, which lists Zoltan Rozsnyai as conductor, the entire concert is dedicated to Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis" (in D. Major, Opus 123 for Orchestra, Chorus and Four Solo Voices. An intermission not represented on this tape divides the piece into the first three parts before and the second two after. The performers include the Aztec Concert Choir of San Diego State College (J. Dayton Smith, director), Grossmont College Concert Choir (Carroll Reed, director), and the San Diego Symphonic Chorale (Robert Emile, director, and Albert Campbell, assistant director). Soloists include Carol Neblett (soprano), Peggy Coburn (contralto), Paul Mayo (tenor), and Robert McFerrin (bass).
