This recording appears speeded up. It begins abruptly with the first piece, Rossini's overture "La Scala di Sata," conducted by Zoltan Rozsnyai, ending at about . Next Mary Costa, soprano, sings the aria "Martern aller Arten" from Mozart's "Seraglio," and "Alleluia" from his "Esultate Jubilate," K.165. These are followed by Richard Strauss's "Vier Letzte Lieder."
