Although a piece by Mussorgsky is listed first on the program accompanying the original tape, it is crossed off, and this sound file begins with Prokofiev's "Violin Concerto No. 2 in G. minor Opus 63." The music director and conductor is Zoltan Rozsnyai, and the violinist is Ruggiero Ricci. There is some staticky noise during the second, sixth and twelfth minutes, degenerating into print-through until about minute 24, with the piece ending at about minute 26. After intermission, Brahms' "Symphony No. 3 in F Major Opus 90" is performed, with the occasional click from the tape, starting at about minute 27. Print-through mars this piece as well, starting at about minute 30, with much reduced volume starting at about minutes 39 and 46. By about minute 55 the print-through appears to be gone but is clearly there at about 1 hour, ending a couple of minutes later. From then until the end, Richard Strauss's suite from "Der Rosenkavalier" was played, but again marred by some print-through. This program was performed on November 16 and 17, November 30, and December 1.
