Florence Goss, William Jenkins, and an unidentified woman stand behind the backs of chairs, all wearing award sashes. Goss formed the women's committee of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra in 1949 and served as the chairman of the Board of Directors from 1953-56, and in 1959. Jenkins served as the chairman of the board from 1974-1976.
