A caption reads, "Victor Borge will perform with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on July 14, 15 and 16." This print is presumably a promotional photograph for Borge's guest performance with the symphony. Borge was a comedic musician (conductor and pianist) from Denmark, popular in Europe and the United States through the twentieth century. He performed as the guest conductor of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on July 14th, 15th, and 16th, 1978, for the Summer of Stars series.
