This short note was cut from an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of punched notebook paper. There is a brown stain that obscures parts of most lines. The note is signed "Love and Pride G.M.T.F.," probably Gay Men's Task Force. It reads as shown under "Transcription." Note that the date is in a different color ink from the rest of the note.

Dear Keith
Thank you for speaking at our first gay pride parade, and for helping us work on the happening, too. We need the enthusiasm and views of [crossed out "our"] youth in all our work and we have really enjoyed working with you. Anyone who can keep on dancing when the sound goes off just has to be a winner!
Love and Pride
G.M.T.F.
