The speaker is Mary Hansen(spelling?), who started the first rural center. Barbara Crawford speaks next and gives her situation assistant director for community services. She points out problems with transportation, mobility, and so on, working with a rural clientele. This tape was recorded "live" at the Displaced Homemakers Conference held October 12-14. It was preservation reformatted by the California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP).
