Sig Mickelson, Van Deerlin Professor of Communication

 

 

 

 

Mickelson was appointed in 1989 to the chair that was endowed in honor of Lionel Van Deerlin in 1985. He had received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Augustana College, and his Master of Arts degree at the University of Minnesota. (The first person to occupy the chair was appointed in 1986.)
