"Project Names" truck at Pride parade, 2002

Pride Photography Project

 

A truck with a "Project Names" sign displays part of the AIDS quilt. Each patch of the guilt has the name of a person who died of AIDS. Pieces were sewn as a national project at distributed locations, and the pieces were then taken to Washington DC to add to the whole quilt. An unidentified person sits at the back of the truck bed. They are passing the Tribe Salon Group on the opposite side.
