"No on Knight" sign in Pride parade, 1999

An unidentified person raises a fist in the air while holding the sign and marching alone. The sign is a cross out with "Knight" in the middle referring to the Knight Initiative, also known as California Proposition 22, which banned gay marriage. On the opposite (south) side of University Avenue crowds are held back behind yellow caution tape, and the marcher has just passed Mayer Reprographics.
