Two unidentified marchers hold the banner. The Stonewall protests occurred after a 1969 police raid on the Greenwich Village (New York) Stonewall Inn, and anniversaries have been observed since. Following the Stonewall banner are people with a "No to the Knight Initiative," referring to a successful initiative on the California ballot to ban gay marriage, and a "Medical Cannabis" banner.
