Merrill Douglas attended San Diego State Teacher's College from 1929 to 1931, In this interview he discusses helping in the move of the college from Normal Street to the Mission Palisades (Montezuma Mesa) site, where he was in the first graduating class at this site. He talks as well about his life as a student, including fraternity life and playing basketball and baseball for the college. He also mentions the cost of living at the time as well as his feelings about the New Deal.
