The Oxfrord Hotel was built in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego in 1914, just in time for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915. The building, at the northeast corner of Fifth Avenue and F street, is in 2013 the William Penn Hotel. Photographs in the collection of the San Diego History Center show this same building in 1926 (#6971) and dated 1907 (#5703).
