Trinidad Rodriguez is billed here as the "smallest woman in the world," although her sister was 11 inches shorter. (Trinidad stood 33 inches tall and weighed 25 lb as an adult.) She and her brother and sister performed for years as the "del Rio midgets," changing her name to Carmen. She was part of Midget Village during the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935. The Exposition was held in San Diego's Balboa Park.
