Although the pencilled note on this hand-tinted picture postcard dates it as "July 1-1918," there is a seal from the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 that almost certainly indicates that the card was manufactured earlier, probably as publicity for the Exposition. "Bungalow" was a word in popular usage at the time, referring to a single-family dwelling, usually with one story, but sometimes with a "half story" built in under a sloping roof. The Curt Teich number on the back of the card is A-30093. The publisher's number is 4122.
