Picture postcard of San Diego with Point Loma and San Diego Bay, pier
The makers of this hand-tinted picture postcard operated in New York and Germany from 1900 to 1923, limiting the date range of distribution. This postcard was printed in Germany. It shows what appears to be a mainly residential area dropping down to the San Diego Bay, with a pier on the left. Point Loma is seen on the right on the horizon, and the north and south "islands" of Coronado can be seen, with the Spanish Bight (later filled in) in about the center almost at the horizon.
