The title of this hand-tinted picture postcard with a panoramic view "from the sea." It was produced by a publisher who was in business from 1900-1920. This view "from the sea" might be referring not to the point of view of the camera but from the top of the card at the horizon. Point Loma is in the distance on the right. The broad street running fromthe center of the bottom to the Bay toward the right might be D Street, later Broadway. Coronado North Island is also visible. This card has an "undivided back," meaning that postal regulations did not allow for anything but an address to be written on the back until 1907. It does, however, have the words "Post Card" printed on the back, which was allowed starting in 1901. The publisher's number on the back is 2930.
