This is a hand-tinted postcard showing Fifth Avenue, San Diego, California. It states that the viewer is looking down Fifth Avenue in San Diego, California (originally called "5th St."). Streetcar tracks can be seen, along with a streetcar in the distance. The same scene with some color differences, and with a different publisher, is PC-000-644. This card also has a pencilled message that is on the front of the card because the card has an undivided back (reserved for addresses only by postal regulation. This view of Fifth Avenue appears to be across the street from the one on PC-000-657. The publisher was in business from 1900-1920.
