This is a hand-tinted linen picture postcard with a seal of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 in the message section on the reverse. Plannng for the Expositon was begun in 1910, so the image might have been created before the Exposition started. A night scene is depicted, with lights in the windows and in the streetcar in the distance coming toward the camera near the left bottom. A moon and clouds show in the sky; however, many Tichnor scenes have prominent moons, and given the obvious enhancement it could be that this was not a night scene as taken. The same photograph appears to be a daytime scene in PC-000-641A, which has a message dated in 1913.
