An Indian peacock displays as if for courtship at the San Diego Zoo
An Indian peackock of characteristic blue color displays the covert feathers with an eye pattern by fanning his tail. He is facing the camera among green foliage. The message portion of the postcard states that it is part of an "Animal Color Series From the San Diego Zoo," and that the animal shown is a "Blue Beacock" from "India - Ceylon." The San Diego Zoo is in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. No publisher is given, but the number in the upper left corner on the back of the card is B-9.
